Dingač does not describe a grape variety, but rather the very small wine-growing region on the Pelješac Peninsula. Only selected grapes from the finest vineyards are used.

Vintage: 2022 Grape variety: Cabernet Franc 100% Ageing: Large oak casks Origin: Baranja, Slavonia Alcohol content: 14.5% Closure: Natural cork Volume: 75cl Cabernet Franc is almost a rarity among wines, as it is rarely found as a single-varietal wine. Instead, it is usually blended with other red varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot) in the famous Bordeaux blends. This is a wine of the highest quality, crafted by selecting the finest grapes from the best vineyard sites, with a reduced yield per vine. This approach results in smaller quantities of exceptional wine. The wine matured for 14 months in 500-litre oak casks before being bottled, where it continued to develop. What makes this wine special is that it has been allowed to evolve naturally with minimal intervention from winemaking techniques. As a result, the wine is unfiltered and may contain sediment in the bottle. The wine boasts an intense ruby-red colour. Its bouquet is complex and layered, with notes of plum, violet, blackberry, smoke, and leather. On the palate, it is soft and warm, with silky, ripe tannins. The acidity of 5.7 g/l balances beautifully with a full-bodied structure. Dry on the finish, the wine’s powerful 14.5% alcohol lends a sense of sweetness.
