This Felline Anarko from Accademia dei Racemi is a red wine made from Malvasia Nera, Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes by Felline Gregory Perrucci from the town of Manduria in Puglia. It was this wine that first brought international acclaim to the winery.

BOUQUET: Sweet red fruits and spice, with hints of boxwood, tea and amber. PALATE: The flavour of red fruits is balanced by a robust but not overpowering alcohol presence, while firm tannins and fresh acidity lend structure and elegance. FOOD PAIRING: Ideal with roast veal, beef and lamb, game, or mature cheeses. REFINEMENT: After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for around 6 months in second- and third-fill barriques. CELLARING POTENTIAL: Enjoy now or cellar for 3–4 years to see it develop further.

Its distinctive aroma lends it a special value in blends, particularly in the mid-palate.Deep ruby-red in colour with violet hues; pronounced aromas of red fruits with a hint of plum and spice. Full-bodied and well-balanced, with lively tannins and a pleasantly long finish of ripe red fruits.

The grapes come exclusively from vines at least 70 years old.Rich aromas of blueberries and morello cherries. Full-bodied, rounded, balanced and with a long, lingering finish.
