Istrien ist das Land des Malvazija – Und Malvazija ist die Sorte Istriens. Alle Winzer haben diesen frischen und mineralischen Wein im Portfolio. Nebenbei gesagt ist Istrien, dass größte Anbaugebiet für den Malvasier weltweit. Verwandte gibt es Italien und Spanien wie auf den Balearen. Je nach Terroir in Istrien, Norden und Süden unterscheiden sich im Boden, ergeben sich feine Finessen. Ausbau und Reifung sind weitere Faktoren die den Malvazija so vielseitig machen. Der ganz klassisch im Stahltank ausgebaute Wein ist frisch mit mineralischen Noten. Sur-lie-Verfahren oder der Ausbau im Holzfass aus Eiche oder Akazie sind oft zu finden. Seit vielen Jahren ist auch Amphoren- und Orange-Weine verfügbar.
Der Muskat ist ebenso ein Aushängeschild der istrischen Winzer. Halbtrocken und süss ausgebaut, ergeben sich prima Begleiter zum Dessert oder Aperativ. Auch trocken ausgebaut ist der Muskat sehr beliebt.
Neben Malvaizja und Muskat, finden sich natürlich auch Sauvignon, Chardonnay und die Pinot-Sorten im Programm der Winzer.

The Boškinac Calma offers vibrant, fruity aromas of citrus and green apple, layered with Mediterranean Dalmatian herbs. The wine delivers a striking minerality that, especially on a sunny day, invites you to dream of the Adriatic while relaxing on the terrace or in the garden.
