Slavonia
Slawonien wird dominiert vom Weißwein. Im Land zwischen Donau, Drau und Save finden sich für weiße Sorten ideale Bedingungen, warme Winter, kalte Winter und sanfte Hügel mit guter Belüftung. In Kutjevo-Požega, Baranja und entlang der Donau sind Graševina (Welschriesling) verschiedene Pinot-Sorten, Sauvignon und Chardonnay anzutreffen Darüber hinaus gibt es richtig guten Traminer (Traminac) und gelben Muskat, sowie Rotgipfler (Zelenac). Auch Spätlesen und, je nach Winter, auch Eiswein werden produziert. Letztere meist aus der Graševina-Traube. Der Ausbau im sur-lie-Verfahren als auch im Barrique sind nicht ungewöhnlich, gerne als Cuvée. Die Hauptstadt des Graševina ist sicherlich Kutjevo, wo viele namhafte Winzer Trauben aus unterschiedlichen Lagen verarbeiten.

Through cold maceration of the grapes prior to fermentation, this wine achieves a rich, full-bodied character with a beautiful yellow-green hue. The relatively high alcohol content of 13.5% vol. indicates a wine well-suited to extended ageing and bottle maturation. This is further enhanced by the sur-lie method, where the wine is aged on its lees, lending it both longevity and a distinctive creamy, buttery aroma. It is an exceptionally versatile variety, capable of producing a range of wine styles—from light, fresh wines for everyday enjoyment to premium bottlings, including rare ice-wine vintages. This wine was crafted using reductive winemaking techniques and aged in sealed stainless steel vessels. The controlled conditions preserve its delicate floral aromas of chamomile, elderflower, citrus and green apple. The wine’s colour is a vibrant greenish-yellow, typical of the variety. A dry wine with a pleasing 3 g/l residual sugar and 5.5 g/l total acidity, this 12.0% ABV bottling is a refined yet approachable choice—equally at home on a casual table or a formal dining setting.

Its colour is pale, light yellow with a hint of green, while the palate is fresh, pleasantly sweet with a residual sugar of 9.0 g/l. A modern wine style with balanced acidity and an alcohol content of 12.0% vol., medium-bodied.

Careful selection of harvest timing and rigorous sorting of only the healthiest grapes contribute to the development of aromas of freshly mown grass, with a hint of elderflower and vineyard peach. The reductive conditions during fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks preserve the wine’s classic character. The wine’s colour is pale yellow with greenish reflections. Lightly off-dry—almost dry—with a residual sugar of 5.3 g/l, it is best enjoyed young and fresh. The palate is lively, with bright acidity and a fairly robust body that perfectly complements the 13% alcohol.
