The Boškinac winery has always been an integral part of life for the Šuljić and Boškinac families. Around 25 years ago, a new chapter began on the foundations of tradition. The Boškinac winery was built in 2000, and in the same year, a new 5-hectare vineyard was planted near the winery. Boškinac’s red wines have long been among the finest in Croatia, while the whites offer a distinctive blend of native and international varieties. Great wine begins in the vineyard, and the accolades received to date are the result of hard work and a deep passion for this unique craft. According to the assessments of some of Croatia’s and the world’s most respected wine critics and sommeliers, Boškinac’s red wines consistently rank among the finest in Croatia.
The first thing you notice is the wine’s very dark, opaque red colour. The bouquet bursts with bold fruit notes of blueberries and blackcurrants. The power, finesse and density of this wine are reflected in its flavour. The alcohol is strong but not overpowering, seamlessly integrating into a full-bodied and concentrated structure. The finish is intense, leaving a lasting impression on the palate and inviting further enjoyment.

Das Weingut war schon immer das Rückgrat des Lebens der Familien Šuljić und Boškinac. Vor etwa 25 Jahren begann eine neue Periode auf den Fundamenten der Tradition. Die Kellerei Boškinac wurde im Jahr 2000 gebaut, und im selben Jahr wurde in der Nähe der Kellerei auf 5 ha Land ein neuer Weinberg angelegt. Der Rotwein von Boškinac gehört seit jeher zu den besten Weinen Kroatiens, und die Weißweine sind eine besondere Kombination aus einheimischen und internationalen Sorten. Der gute Wein beginnt im Weinberg, und die bisher erhaltenen Auszeichnungen sind das Ergebnis harter Arbeit und der Liebe zu diesem einzigartigen Beruf. Nach den Bewertungen einiger der renommiertesten kroatischen und internationalen Weinkritiker und Sommeliers gehört der Boškinac-Rotwein durchweg zu den besten Weinen Kroatiens.
Das Restaurant ist gerade erst mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet worden und gehört zu dem Toppadressen in Kroatien.
Das Erste, was einem auffällt, ist die sehr dunkle, undurchsichtige rote Farbe. Der Duft strotzt förmlich vor kräftigen Fruchtaromen von Blaubeeren und schwarzen Johannisbeeren. Die Kraft, die Feinheit und die Dichte dieses Weins finden sich im Geschmack wieder. Der Alkohol ist stark, aber nicht aufdringlich und fügt sich gut in einen vollen Körper und konzentrierten Extrakt ein. Der Abgang ist intensiv und hinterlässt einen starken Eindruck auf der Zunge, der zu weiterem Genuss einlädt.
