Some of the vineyards are over 50 years old and perfectly suited to delivering a truly exceptional tasting experience. For the Stina Plavac Mali Majstor 2019, a portion of the must (around 20%) is fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the rest is aged in large oak vats (3,300 litres) and barriques. The maceration period for this red wine lasts at least a month, enhancing its structure.

The Plavac Mali Majstor is an intense, powerful red wine with juicy aromas of dark berries, chocolate, and Mediterranean herbs. The tannins, though present, are beautifully integrated into the wine’s richness, culminating in a long, satisfying finish.

This Stina Plavac Mali Majstor is crafted from a selection of the finest grapes of the indigenous Plavac Mali variety, grown in perfectly situated vineyards on the southern slopes of Brač Island. Near Murvica (west of Bol), where the sea ensures maximum sun exposure during ripening. Plavac Mali Majstor offers a wealth of aromas of red and black fruits, lush yet velvety tannins, and a harmonious influence of oak developed during ageing. The wine is aged in French oak barriques for at least sixteen months, with a high proportion of new barrels used.

It is an outstanding example of the Plavac Mali grape—a full-bodied wine with excellent ageing potential. A wine for true connoisseurs.
