This wine is a captivating and beautifully crafted cuvée from 70% Pošip, 20% Vugava and 10% Chardonnay from Dalmatia. It opens with subtle smoky, leafy notes and a stony minerality, followed by a fascinating sweet herbal character and waxy, ripe white and yellow-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and refreshing, with vibrant acidity and a striking salinity, not to mention its impressive length. A wine in the style of the Old World and the Mediterranean, offering outstanding complexity for the price. Drink now or cellar for a few years—it’s well worth it. John Szabo, MS (90 pts)
The grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning hours, chilled before pressing and pressed without oxygen contact. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
