Straw-yellow in colour, the bouquet evokes ripe white and green fruits such as apples, pears and peaches. An exceptionally fruity and easy-drinking wine with pronounced minerality and structure.
Production: Hand-picked at peak aromatic concentration and grape ripeness from steep vineyards and small, often separate plots. The grapes are quickly pressed to preserve the fruit character of the variety. Fermentation is carried out at low temperatures to maximise aroma extraction.

Für die Winzerfamilie Dvanajščak-Kozol sind die Tradition, Natur und Familie von besonderer Bedeutung. Seit 1990 ist der Familienbetrieb dabei, herausragende Weine in der Region Međimurje, ganz im Norden Kroatiens, zu entwickeln und zu vermarkten

Einfach hat der Winzer es nicht, denn die Weinberge sind klein und schwer erreichbar. Aber das besondere Klima in der Međimurje entschädigt dafür mit optimalen Bedingungen. Hier trifft im Sommer die warme Adrialuft auf eine leichte Abkühlung aus den Alpen. Die Folge sind eine lange und hohe Reife der Rebe. Das Ergebnis sind leichte, sehr aromatische und mineralisch Weine. Die Böden aus Lehm, Sand, Ton und Kalkgestein tragen dazu bei. Die dominierende Sorte der Region ist Pušipel, die die Basis für spritzige Sekte und leichte und aromatische Weissweine ist. Auch für charaktervolle Terroir-Weine eignet sich Pušipel, sogar im traditionallen Ausbau im Akazienholz.
