Badel Pelinkovac is a popular herbal liqueur from Croatia. Produced by Badel 1862, one of Croatia’s oldest and most renowned producers of alcoholic beverages, Pelinkovac is one of the company’s signature products and has been enjoyed by locals and visitors alike for many years.

The Antique was created to celebrate the 145th anniversary of Badel Distillery. Its carefully selected blend features at least 20 different herbs, giving the Pelinkovac Antique its distinctive aroma. Compared to other herbal liqueurs, the Antique is less bitter and has a smoother finish.

The key ingredient in Pelinkovac is wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), which gives the liqueur its signature herbal and slightly bitter flavour. Wormwood is a vital component in many traditional herbal liqueurs and spirits, including absinthe.

Badel Pelinkovac is traditionally served as a digestif, either neat or over ice after a meal. Some also use it as a cocktail ingredient, adding a unique herbal note to mixed drinks.
